Its Easter Sunday, day 1 of our 6 week adventure. Packed to the brim and excited about what's ahead of us. Well 4 out of 5 Elksplorers are!

Week 3 4WD tag-a-long . Tasmanian Offroad Adventures. Mon 14th January Meeting at Burnie, we joined 5 4WD's led by Mark from Tasmanian Off Road Adventures. His son Ryan (10) joining us on his first tag-a-long trip. Mark and Brad had met during Camp Quality 4x4 fun but we had already booked on the tag-a-long .In the other 4WDs, Adam and his son Bailey (14) in Ranger from Melbourne, Dan, Stacey and their girls Amelia (9), Thea (4) in their Patrol from Coffs Harbour; and Craig and Nicole , Clordella (8) and Lincoln (6) in their Land cruiser recently moved to Tasmania from Brisbane. We had a bit of a drive to Arthur River. Driver's needed to purchase a recreational driving permit. Then the fun began! We are travelling well. Josh is ok when he's in the present and not thinking of the unknown. Mitch is reading up and planning what we will do in Broken Hill. Xavier has a new take on "Are we the yet?" With constant checking if we are going to Uluru today! We've spent hours along the Mitchell Highway and saw Brad's Wear. We are now on the lookout for a Joshua, Xavier and Melissa 'thing' out there. Help us choose a daily theme song. We're still yet to agree on a theme song. Long Way to the Top, TNT, Eye of the Tiger are in contention. We are open for ideas so comment with your song suggestions! Day 1- Home to Wellington via Bathurst. Our first stop was for Brad. He's been dreaming of going to Mount Panorama to see the cars race. Well that dream came true....ok so it was not the ACTUAL Bathurst 1000 but the Hi-Tech 6 hour .
